The Stack Printer

Cool printer without the paper tray.

Designer Mugi Yamamoto has designed a unique inkjet printer that sits on top of a stack of paper and uses them its way down through the pile when printing. Mugi Yamamoto designed this as his graduate project and it seems to be very creative. The paper disappears under the printer and exits on top, where it creates a new pile.

Scanning and Share Magnifying Glass Concept

Scanner and Projector built in to Magnifying Glass.

Very interesting concept Scanning and Share – Magnifying Glass has a unique functionality that differentiates it from anything else we have seen. The handle doubles up as a projector that scans and beams the portion placed under the glass. Additional information like storage, OS, sharing and other information can help us well understand the project.

Line Printer for sewing machine

Interesting concept printer for your sewing machine.

One household equipment that looks the same in a long time is the sewing machine. Changing spool of thread is still an annoying thing. Line Printer for sewing machine is a simple concept, colour of white thread printed to any shade you want, with a built in scanner you can match existing fabric.

Line Printer is very interesting concept. This small device allows the colour of sewing machine thread to be customized to the colour of the cloth being worked upon. You may not have the exact colour and re-threading the machine is always a hassle; with the Line Printer you get to ‘print’ thread with colour on demand.
