Bentley Barnato Roadster

Very cool, retro roadster concept

Bentley Barnato Roadster
The Bentley Barnato Roadster is a concept designed by Ben Knapp Voith while attending an 8-month design internship at Bentley. It is a modern interpretation of what the Bentley Boys (elite and adventurous British gentlemen racers who drove Bentley sports cars in the 1920s) would drive today. Ben´s tribute was inspired by Bentley´s early cars but also the gracious curves of the R-Type Continental. The end result is a stylish contemporary car with self-evident attention to detail.

Underwater Luxury Yacht concept

U-010 is a submarine and yacht wrapped into one original design.

The yacht has a double-skinned hull with a high-modulus steel outer shell lined with an inner aluminum layer.

U-010 is a submarine and yacht wrapped into one original design. With two 800-hp electric motors, the vessel moves under water at 10 knots and dives to a maximum depth of 190′ to 200′. When it re-emerges, the craft’s two 1,800-hp diesel engines take over for surface cruising.

Underwater Luxury Yacht
The U-010 boasts comfortable interiors with astonishing underwater and sea-surface views through round windows. With large living spaces (about 7,530 square feet) and three decks, the yacht offers ample space for the owner’s suite plus four guest cabins, a fully equipped spa center, an open-air deck and a pressured chamber housing a mini-submarine for deeper undersea exploration.

V8 Wet Rod

Personal water craft V8 Wet Rod

In development, Wet Rod will feature a 16-foot (4.9-m) carbon fiber/epoxy body powered by a 300-hp 5.7-liter V8 engine. Its water jet propulsion system will reportedly take it up to a top speed of 65 mph (105 km/h). It is remarkably light for its size.

Strand Craft’s founder, Kurt Strand, partnered with a variety of professional PWC riders to develop the V8 Wet Rod. The speed is in line with what some well known PWC models deliver. Other specifications are further complementary. Strand says that the PWC’s dry weight will be 1,500 pounds. Load capacity will be 600 pounds. The V8 Wet Rod will carry 30 gallons of fuel, too.

Floating luxury Yacht Island

Tropical Island Paradise – the new concept in luxury yachting

The brief for this concept was to create an idyllic, floating island, with all the features of a tropical island getaway built into the design. Key elements of the exterior main deck include the swimming pool, guest cabanas, the bar and outdoor dining. The waterfall can quite clearly been seen running from the volcano and feeding into the swimming pool.

This view shows the guest cabanas nestled around the pool and highlights the two deck owners’ suites carved out of the front of the volcano and looking out across the bow. The interior features an owners suite located inside the volcano and spread over two decks. The living room balcony affords views out over the front of the yacht from behind the waterfall. Located behind the bedroom is the owners private spa.
